The Children of Heaven

My favorite movie is "The Children of Heaven", which is an Iranian movie.
This movie started with the scene that one boy went to shoe repair shop to mend his sister's shoes. But he lost it and from that time he and his sister started to share his shoes, because they knew their parents were poor and could not afford to buy new one. His sister was in morning class and he was in afternoon class, so she had to run fast in order to return the shoes to her brother. Although she did her best to run, her brother was always late and couldn't help avoiding his teacher's scolding.

One day, the sister found the girl who wore her shoes and ran after the girl with her brother. But they realized the girl's father was blind and her family was much poorer than them, so they decided to give up the shoes.

A few days later, the brother found a poster that said there would be a marathon and the third prize was a pair of shoes. He took part in the marathon and tried to be the third to get the shoes. Even though he could win first place, he let two people go before him.

In the end, however, he won first place and he cried, because he couldn't get the shoes. This part was my favorite. How cute he is!

The last scene is that their father bought two pairs of new shoes and came back to home.
